Movement. Mindfulness. Connection.
At The 90 and The Forge Fitness Community, we’re building a model of mental health support that starts with community and prevention you can feel.
“Mental health isn’t just about treatment—it’s about prevention, connection, and belonging.”
Why Mental Health Starts with Community
Every October, World Mental Health Day reminds us that caring for our minds isn’t something we do only when life falls apart—it’s something we can build every day.
At The 90, we meet people where they are. Whether it’s a veteran finding calm through breathwork, a parent taking an hour for self-care while their child plays safely nearby, or two neighbors sharing a cup of coffee and conversation—every moment of connection matters.
Our mission is simple: support veterans and our community through the power of movement, mindfulness, and connection.
The Forge: Fitness with Purpose
When we opened The Forge Fitness Community, our goal was to create more than a gym. We wanted a space where movement builds resilience and belonging.
Every membership funds trauma-informed programs through The 90.
That means your workout helps someone else heal.
💛 Veterans train free
👶 Childcare provided Mon–Thu
🧘 Trauma-informed movement for nervous-system regulation
🤝 Peer circles and referral pathways for deeper support
“Your membership is more than fitness—it’s community service.”
Prevention You Can Feel
True prevention isn’t complicated—it’s consistent.
Movement strengthens the body and the mind.
Mindfulness builds awareness before stress turns to burnout.
Community replaces isolation with connection and purpose.
At The Forge, every class helps you reset and regulate.
At The 90, every dollar supports outreach, scholarships, and partnerships with schools and local organizations.
Together, we’re building resilience from the ground up.
Coffee, Connection, and Conversation
One of our favorite initiatives is Coffee with a Veteran—a simple but powerful way to build relationships that save lives.
We’ve partnered with Chapter Coffee, who donate $2 for every bag sold to support our veteran mental-health programs.
“Thanking a veteran is kind—but inviting them for coffee and listening to their story can change everything.”
A Call to the Community
This World Mental Health Day, we invite you to take three small steps toward a stronger community:
1️⃣ Move. Take a class or a walk.
2️⃣ Connect. Invite a friend—or a veteran—for coffee.
3️⃣ Support. Join us on Nov 7 for our Veterans Fundraising Gala at Macatawa Legends, featuring Dan Nevins and Big Lake Brewing’s special release. Every ticket funds a year of trauma-informed classes, peer circles, and community support.
The Way Forward
Mental health care shouldn’t feel out of reach—it should feel like coming home.
At The 90 and The Forge, we’re redefining what support looks like: movement that heals, mindfulness that grounds, and community that connects.
Because strength through adversity isn’t just a phrase—it’s who we are.
💫 Find Your Flow. Forge Your Path.
